Notes from Napa #1

In 2012, Linda and I left posh Knightsbridge, London, for gritty Calistoga, California. Our closest friend was 75 miles away in Berkeley.

Fortunately, the fellow we purchased our home from invited us to dinner to meet the neighbors. One of the guests at the dinner was Karen Cakebread, owner of Ziata, a fantastic new brand of award-winning Napa Valley wines.

Karen has become one of our closest friends. She is warm, gracious and a perfectionist. Those qualities are reflected in every wine that she makes. That is why she is the first winemaker I invited to join the myLawyer MarketPlace.

You should taste her wines. They are amazing.
